Wearing a facemask
Z
Any home made or purchased face covering should fit over your mouth and nose
Z
There should be minimal gaps
Z
When worn, you should still be able to breathe comfortably
Z
Whilst worn it should be tight to avoid slipping (and therefore you touching your face to readjust!) but not too tight as to cause discomfort
Z
When wearing a face mask, care should be taken to ensure you do not touch your face, just the same as if you were not wearing a mask – don’t get complacent, good hand hygiene is still the most recommended method of preventing spread!
Z
Wearing a mask is not a substitute for good hand hygiene – you should still be washing your hands wish soap and water regularly
Z
Don’t share face masks, even with other members of your household
